- If you’ve connected multiple bikes to the OMNI app, switch to the one where Smartlock or Riding Display is activated.
- Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
In your phone’s system settings, ensure the Stromer OMNI app has permission to use Bluetooth. - On your Stromer, check if the Bluetooth connection with the OMNI app is enabled: Go to Menu > Bluetooth > OMNI app.
If it’s still not working: Reset the Bluetooth Pairing
- Disable the Bluetooth features "Riding Display" and "Smartlock" in the OMNI app.
- Force stop the Stromer OMNI app on your smartphone.
- In your phone’s Bluetooth settings, remove the pairing with your Stromer.
- On your Stromer, go to Menu > Bluetooth > OMNI app > Devices, select the paired device, and remove the pairing with your phone.
- Restart the OMNI app.
- Reconfigure Smartlock:
Go to Configuration > Theft Protection > Smartlock.
The app will prompt you to reconnect your bike via Bluetooth.
Additional Tips:
- To use Smartlock and Riding Display, your phone's Bluetooth must be enabled, and the OMNI app must be running in the background (not force-stopped).
- These features work via Bluetooth only — no internet connection is required.
- Only one bike can be connected via Bluetooth to the OMNI app at a time.
- To use Smartlock or Riding Display on a different bike, first deactivate the feature on the current bike.
