What does the charging cycle or “state of health” mean?

One charging cycle is the complete charging and discharging process of the battery. Incomplete charging or discharging is referred to as a partial charge. Because an entire charging cycle is rarely performed, if ever, because charging is practically never performed from 0 to 100 %, we don’t refer to charging cycles for our batteries but instead to the “state of health”. This takes into account much more than just the charging processes: For this reason, the state of health must not fall below 75 % during the 24-month warranty on the battery. This state of health of the battery can be tracked in the Stromer OMNI app.
