Steps

1. Unboxing the bike

Follow these steps when unboxing the new bike:

  1. Check the delivery to ensure the correct model, size, and options are received.
  2. Inspect packaging and bike for transport damage before unpacking.
  3. Verify the documents to match the VIN number of the bike
  4. Verify all included parts, such as the battery, charger, pedals, and accessories.
  5. If needed, wake up the Stromer bike from deep sleep mode
2. Bike preparation

Prepare the bike for the first ride with these steps:

  • Charge the battery to 100 percent before testing.
  • Update the bike with the latest software.
  • Tighten and check all components, including bolts, headset, brakes, and tire pressure.
  • Adjust suspension if applicable, ensuring the fork and seat post matches the customers physique.
  • Test all functions, including lights, motor, regenerative braking, sensors, and connectivity.
3. Handover preparation

Before handing the bike over to the customer:

  • Register the bike for the customer, if possible.
  • Get the bike ready for pickup:
    • Clean and ready to ride
    • Clearly labeled with the customer’s name
4. Handover to the customer

During the customer handover:

  • Give the customer a warm welcome and congratulate them on their new bike.
  • Walk them through the key functions: cockpit controls, how to remove the battery, and how to charge it.
  • Help them set up the OMNI app – scan the QR code together and create a PIN.
  • Share important maintenance and care tips: battery use, service intervals, and cleaning advice.
  • Make sure they know the local rules: helmet requirements, speed limits, and road regulations.
