Safety in Focus – with Innovative V2X Technology
High-Quality frame and components – The Foundation
The safety of our customers is the top priority at Stromer. Our S-Pedelecs are not only a dynamic and optimal means of transportation for daily distances of up to 30 km but also our promise of safety and reliability. How? In addition to a well-balanced weight distribution with a frame-rear wheel motor, we use high-quality components: an extremely reliable braking system, large-volume tires from the motorcycle industry for good grip, and a highly visible lighting system. The combination of the frame and components forms the foundation for a stable and secure riding experience.

Reducing Traffic Risk with V2
However advanced our technology and equipment may be, traffic remains an unpredictable risk. At Stromer, we continuously work to make our bikes and their use in urban commuting even safer. Our latest step: a strategic partnership with Spoke Safety, a leading innovator in V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) communication technology.
V2X is a communication technology that enables vehicles to communicate with each other and with surrounding infrastructure. This improves traffic safety and optimizes the driving experience with real-time information and warnings about potential hazards.
This strategic partnership aims to integrate Spoke Safety's advanced Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology into Stromer's future e-bikes and also offer a tailored V2X retrofit solution for existing Stromer models. Both efforts are intended to make navigation in urban environments and complex traffic situations safer and easier, as well as to promote enriching riding experiences worldwide. Furthermore, V2X contributes to the growth of sustainable, environmentally friendly, and convenient mobility solutions.
The first wave of Stromer models with integrated Spoke Safety technology is expected to hit the market during 2026, accompanied by a retrofit program for existing Stromer models. Stromer and Spoke are committed to working closely together to advance this technology and continuously improve the safety, performance, and riding experience of e-bikes with innovative features.

Cross-Industry Coordination
Road safety cannot be achieved by one company alone; it requires collaboration across the automotive, bicycle, and technology industries, as well as with policymakers and advocacy groups, all working toward a common goal: significantly improving cyclist safety and drastically reducing accident rates.
This is one of the reasons why we have joined the "Coalition for Cyclist Safety" to work with the automotive industry and telecommunications to achieve higher safety standards for cyclists. Originally, these industries had few or no overlapping interests. The "Coalition for Cyclist Safety" provides a platform for discussing recommendations, collaboration, harmonization, and mutual exchange. The coalition is a crucial step towards creating a comprehensive ecosystem for V2X communication to enhance cyclist safety.
