They do exist, the year-round commuters in the Stromer community who use their Stromer every day, even at wintry temperatures: from November to February, they still travel an impressive daily average of 21.55 km (2020/21), only about 10 km less than in the summer months.

Our newest product is currently on the production schedule: the ST3 Pinion Launch Edition. It is the first Stromer model with Pinion gearbox. The Stromer Research & Development Team decided on a robust and wear-free gearbox solution from the automotive industry in order to develop a particularly low-maintenance commuting vehicle for long-distance and year-round commuters. |

The challenge during development?
It had to be a solution for the integration of the 9-gear Pinion gearbox, the shifting system and the Gates belt into the frame that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also fully functional. Riding pleasure included. After a development period spanning many months, the team managed to install a complex system including the ABS in the typical puristic, integrated and unmistakable Stromer design.
