Stromer wins Red Dot Award for Brands & Communication Design.

With its brand management, Stromer has won the Red Dot Award 2020 in the category Brands & Communication Design.

The Red Dot Jury was won over by Stromer’s design quality and integrated brand management.

Stromer is solidly on the right track with its redesign, its focus on the S-Pedelec category and the integration of a variety of “Swiss technology”, as confirmed by the juries of renowned awards. This year, the ST5 has already won the Red Dot Award, the A’Award and the Design & Innovation Award. The brand was distinguished by the German Brand Award as an Excellent Brand in the category of Transport and Mobility.

“In addition to winning three design awards for the ST5, which validate the direction and relevance of the product development, I am particularly pleased with the second honor on the brand level. Because, together with the product and our employees, the brand is our company’s most precious asset. It confirms that our focused strategy with clear positioning is attracting notice and clearly differentiates us from the competition, which is also communicated in our ‘Drive the Difference’ claim,” explains Marco Schneider, Head of Marketing & Communications.

As part of the reorganization, in 2019 Stromer redefined its identity and sharpened its positioning. The branding was honed, the mission and vision reworked, and the overall brand image redesigned along all the touchpoints of the customer journey.

Evaluation by an international jury.

The Red Dot Award offers designers, agencies, and companies from around the world a platform for the evaluation of their designs. In 2020, 6,992 creative projects and brands from 50 countries were submitted to the competition. In line with the guiding principle “In search of good design and creativity”, the 24 international jurors evaluated the submissions online this year and checked all the work and brands professionally, individually, and comprehensively. In the process, they focused particularly on the form, the idea, and the effect. Only the projects that impressed the experts with their high design quality and creative achievement were then honored.
